Hi! My name is Rebecca and this homestead is my labor of love. We are a small, first generation, homestead in York, South Carolina with the goal of preserving Heritage Breeds while also creating a local source for healthy, sustainable food and products.

I first learned about Heritage Breeds a few years ago and was fascinated by their hardiness and resilience while also being heartbroken that they’ve been left behind in pursuit of a few mainstream breeds. Currently, we only have chickens but we are expanding this year!

We are in the process of building in our forever location, at which point we will add to our homestead. The plan is to have fresh honey from bees on site, fur, meat and fertilizer from rabbits and eventually dairy and fiber products from goats!
